Wah Sing Mongolian BBQ & Hot Pot in Vacaville offers a practical and lively spot for those craving interactive Asian dining centered around Mongolian barbecue and hot pot. This restaurant leans into a hands-on experience where diners can build their own dishes from a well-stocked fresh food station, making it appealing for both families and groups of friends looking to customize meals to their taste.

The atmosphere is straightforward and casual, fitting for a quick weekday dinner as much as a weekend gathering. The interior can get warm due to limited air conditioning, so picking a time outside peak heat or when fans are fully operational might make the experience more comfortable. The service is notably friendly and prompt, which helps keep the flow steady even when busy.

Hot pot is a popular draw here, especially for those who want flavorful broths like spicy miso or hot and spicy, along with an assortment of vegetables like napa cabbage, baby bok choy, and daikon radish. The Mongolian BBQ stands out with fresh seafood options and meats to grill at your table, paired with a variety of custom sauces that you can tweak at the sauce station. This DIY approach suits people who enjoy experimenting with flavors in real time.

The menu also highlights appetizers like sesame balls and crab rangoon, alongside fried noodles and pork potstickers, which work well as starters or sides. For those interested in drinks, Wah Sing provides a modest selection of beers, sake, soju, and wine, complementing the meal without overwhelming the casual vibe.

This spot is a convenient choice for families and groups seeking all-you-can-eat variety without driving far, with weekdays being a good time to avoid crowds. If you appreciate quick, friendly service and want to share a meal built exactly how you like it, Wah Sing offers a straightforward, hands-on dining option in Vacaville’s Nut Tree area.

The food is absolutely delicious and fresh. The service was quick and friendly. The only way this place could improve would be to add some light music and an AC. It was very warm in there even with the big fans blowing.

Was craving hot pot but didn’t want to drive far. Thought it was time to try hot pot here. Good price for all you can eat dinner. Fast service. Kids picked the spicy miso broth and we picked the hot and spicy broth. Both were good! They also have Mongolian BBQ, have to try that the next time we come.

Great food. I love the quality of the food, the friendly staff and the great (and Quick) service. What a gem of a place. The Mongolian BBQ was so good I had a bit more than I should have. I usually have decent restraint re eating too much. But it was hard to resist that. Will go again

Took my husband out for lunch, this restaurant serves both Hot Pot as well as Mongolian BBQ. Hot Pot is served on one side of the restaurant and Mongolian on the other. We decided on Hot Pot and got the Spicy Miso Broth (right) and Tomato Broth which had chopped tomatoes (left.) Meats came frozen, and fresh vegetables and Tofu and 3 dipping sauces. Two people we paid around $50 - We had Mongolian BBQ on the same night, too. Also really yummy, definitely will go back.
